I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your involvement in the Ohio Region Assistant Managers Convention “tour.” Over the last couple of weeks, I have heard wonderful comments about the ideas you presented to the group. Your ability to relate to the audience’s needs and experiences was felt by everyone who attended. Bringing the convention to our managers was a team effort and your role on our team was invaluable to our success.

Oftentimes, problem-solving groups must struggle through the negative aspects of their business to create positive solutions. Your presentation at the end of our day put things in perspective and motivated people “to make a difference.” People retained your message and enthusiasm and returned to work to share it with others. Somehow you bridged the gap between work and “personal esteem” and brought a connection to the work place.

WOW! Is Phil Sorentino a terrific speaker, or what?!? Now, we had many skeptics in the audience, as this is mainly a group of “high C” personality types—surely a challenge for any speaker, and not for the faint of heart. But in his presentation, “Coming To Work, Ready To Play,” Phil not only prevailed, he carried the day! Never before had I seen so many of my colleagues actually laughing and enjoying themselves! Never before had I seen so many folks not only engaged, but actually participating, in what is usually disparagingly dismissed as a “warm and fuzzy experience” around this office!
Phil obviously can work miracles. He made this group laugh: Laugh at themselves, at each other and at their situations. He made us shout very loudly, a scene that you had to experience to believe. And, he kept our group with him throughout his entire presentation, despite an overly crowded (and overly warm) hotel conference room.

Comments on our evaluations included: “Uplifting”; “Made me think”; Very powerful”; “Gifted speaker giving good advice”; “Best presentation I have ever seen. I will live better by working my action steps.”

The preparation for the events was the smoothest yet! Your prompt response and attention to the specific goals we wanted to achieve from our rallies is appreciated. While we all enjoyed the humor, we all left with a serious understanding of what providing high quality customer service means in enhancing customer loyalty. You had a unique approach to delivering our message that helped spread the word when it came time to implement in our branch environment. We look forward to working with you again soon.

I really think that a person’s attitude should indicate that the words WORK and PLAY are synonymous and interchangeable in life. Work is a matter of interpretation and I define it as pleasant, enjoyable and sometimes challenging. . . . Thanks again for making an appearance in my life. I know we are both better for it.

Mr. Sorentino did an excellent presentation at one of Walgreens’ South Florida bi-annual Market meetings hosted by Nova Southeastern University in August of 2014 with over 650 Store and Pharmacy Managers in attendance. Mr. Sorentino provided an energizing and enlightening presentation to our group that combined humor with business principles that were relevant to our corporate audience. Mr. Sorentino was diligent in his preparation and spent considerable amount of time in client discussions to ensure the success of this presentation.
