What Our Clients Say

I recommend Susan to anyone who is looking for a Coach to take their lives to the next level. Her listening without the mention of words is extraordinary. Susan not only understood me and where I was coming from but she also laid out in front of me my own strengths and weaknesses, something I would have never discovered on my own. Thank you Susan for being who you are!

It was a privilege to listen to Phil Sorentino speak at a recent event
held in the Huizenga Business School for over 80 of our Corporate Partners.
Phil’s dynamic presentation had everyone engaged and held their attention.
His content and his delivery were equally amazing. He received the highest
marks out of all the speakers on the program evaluation. Phil truly is a
professional and a very funny guy!

Thanks for the role you played in making the 150th Anniversary of the YMCA the best in our history. In your own unique way, you brought a message of inspiration for our staff and volunteers in their quest to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities, not only in this country, but also around the world.

We had the privilege of working with Phil and Susan, Humor Consultants, in
January to present to our employees and community members on “Humor: Your
Key to Enjoying Your Work, Your Family and Yourself.”

Phil is a dynamic, passionate, thought provoking, and a catalyst for
positive change in the lives of the folks that have the opportunity to see
and hear his presentations. Our audience was energized, and more
importantly, inspired to appreciate all the wonder in our lives and how we
can make a difference in the lives of others. We all felt Phil’s passion
and his genuine interest in all who attended.

Working with Susan to coordinate the presentation was easy, professional
and likely the most organized process I’ve experienced.

If you are interested in making a real difference in the lives of the
people in your organization, contact Phil and Susan.

Best Regards, and as Phil would say “Have Fun!”

Phil, you did it again! It has been a year and a half since you helped us
design, create and implement, as you called it, “Our Encouragers Retreat.”
We are all Encouragers versus Leaders. So, it made sense to see if you
could help us with our planning session and wow, did you help!

From the title, “Work Smart, Have Fun & Make Money™ – Being Strong in
Challenging Times,” you created a process that was built from our front
line up through our Encouragers, to the practice session with each
department head, to the full day. We are thrilled. We know next year will
present challenges and we know with your help, we are positioned to meet
them and prosper.

We recently enlisted Phil Sorentino of Humor Consultants Inc. to present to our entire leadership team during our quarterly management retreat. We wanted a presenter that could send a powerful message regarding balancing work and personal life. In addition, he spoke of leadership qualities and teambuilding strategies. What was unique was his ability to make people laugh and feel good about the day. We received many positive comments from the retreat participants who thoroughly enjoyed the day, left feeling energized and carrying a powerful message to share with their staff members. We would recommend Phil Sorentino to your organization if you want to learn and have fun!

On behalf of the City of Oakland Park, Florida, I want to thank you for “A Day of Encouragement”. You helped all of our supervisors and managers understand that their main responsibility is to encourage our citizens, our staff, each other, and most importantly, themselves. Throughout the seminar, you reinforced “Our Values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence”. Everyone left with specific action steps to implement behaviors to “Create Results through Enjoyable Solutions”. Most importantly, you made it fun! We left with an enthusiasm that was contagious. During the next week, I received many phone calls thanking us for the day. It is right there on our logo – Engaged, Inspired, United. You certainly did all three. Finally, I appreciate your customization of the program. That made it special.

I just finished listening to Phil’s CD. Wow! An engaging hour and half that left me setting down some action step. Brilliantly presented. Simple. Straight forward. Beneficially useful. Entertaining. Insightful. Immediately actionable. Totally aligned with the message of aggregation. These are just a few of the words that come to mind. Thanks for the inspiration.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your involvement in the Ohio Region Assistant Managers Convention “tour.” Over the last couple of weeks, I have heard wonderful comments about the ideas you presented to the group. Your ability to relate to the audience’s needs and experiences was felt by everyone who attended. Bringing the convention to our managers was a team effort and your role on our team was invaluable to our success.

Oftentimes, problem-solving groups must struggle through the negative aspects of their business to create positive solutions. Your presentation at the end of our day put things in perspective and motivated people “to make a difference.” People retained your message and enthusiasm and returned to work to share it with others. Somehow you bridged the gap between work and “personal esteem” and brought a connection to the work place.

WOW! Is Phil Sorentino a terrific speaker, or what?!? Now, we had many skeptics in the audience, as this is mainly a group of “high C” personality types—surely a challenge for any speaker, and not for the faint of heart. But in his presentation, “Coming To Work, Ready To Play,” Phil not only prevailed, he carried the day! Never before had I seen so many of my colleagues actually laughing and enjoying themselves! Never before had I seen so many folks not only engaged, but actually participating, in what is usually disparagingly dismissed as a “warm and fuzzy experience” around this office!
Phil obviously can work miracles. He made this group laugh: Laugh at themselves, at each other and at their situations. He made us shout very loudly, a scene that you had to experience to believe. And, he kept our group with him throughout his entire presentation, despite an overly crowded (and overly warm) hotel conference room.
